Hal's Work Today

With a PhD in Historical Economics from the University of Chicago, Hal brought a unique skill-set to the Civil Rights Movement. He used historical context, economic and statistical analysis and emergent firms that computed 'big data,' in order to define and combat racism in America.

Through A Plate Glass Darkly

The Hal Baron Project Team is editing Hal's work for republication in the near future.Through a Plate Glass Darkly is the first such manuscript, it combines a selection of Hal's essays and reports with extensive notes designed to meet the needs of a modern audience.
